Services and support

Unparalleled support, whenever you need it.

Maintain your fleet with the help of our global support and post sales team. The relationship does not end at delivery, and neither does the engineering.

01What we cover

Four strands, one relationship.

Training, warranty, repairs and consultancy are handled by the manufacturer rather than passed to a reseller, because the people who designed the airframe are the people who know how to keep it flying.

Training

Master your UAV operations

Expert-led training so you get the most out of your fleet, whatever the experience level of your crews.

Courses are designed around the mission rather than the airframe. Hands-on flight training runs from first solo through to advanced mission planning, and every course is built to hold up against the compliance and safety guidance your operation answers to.

  • Hands-on flight training for pilots at all experience levels
  • Custom courses tailored to industry-specific applications
  • Compliance and safety certification guidance
  • Ongoing support as crews and fleets grow

Warranty

Reliable coverage, peace of mind

Cover your investment with straightforward warranty terms and a claims process that does not become a project of its own.

Because the airframe is modular, a warranty claim usually resolves to a component rather than an aircraft. That keeps the fleet flying and keeps the cost of a fault proportionate to the fault.

  • Standard and extended warranty options available
  • Coverage for manufacturing defects and key components
  • Streamlined claims process, built to be hassle free
  • Fast replacement or repair to minimize disruption

Repairs and returns

Fast, simple, and hassle free

Designed for field repair. Most faults are fixed where the aircraft landed, using ordinary tools.

The industry norm is a three month average repair or replacement cycle. An airframe that survives a thirty foot drop and rebuilds from an inexpensive parts bin does not need that cycle, which is the single largest difference to fleet availability over a year of operations.

  • Quick field repairs using basic hand tools
  • Direct access to spare parts for minimal downtime
  • Expert diagnostics and in-house repair services
  • Simplified return process for warranty claims

Consultancy

Expert guidance for tailored solutions

Every mission is unique. Consultancy de-risks the project before any commitment is made.

We set out clear guidance on the journey ahead, together with the steps that reduce risk: what the requirement actually needs, which airframe fits it, what the payload has to do, and what the total cost of ownership looks like across the life of the fleet.

  • Fleet optimization and operational planning
  • Compliance, regulation and risk assessment support
  • Payload customization for industry-specific operations
  • Total cost of ownership and return on investment modeling
02Training partnership

Training is built with people who already do it at scale.

An aircraft is only as capable as the crew flying it. As unmanned aircraft move from specialist tools into everyday infrastructure work, the constraint stops being the hardware and becomes the number of properly trained people able to operate it safely and within the rules.

The Regional Training Center

RTC · Fountain Valley, California · October 2025

ShadowVu and the US-based Regional Training Center have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance global drone training and public safety, pairing UK manufacturing with an established US training provider.

Because five airframes share one architecture, one ground control stack and the same field maintenance procedures, a crew trained on one ShadowVu aircraft is most of the way to being trained on the rest of the family.

03Fleet availability

Support is an engineering decision, not a department.

An aircraft that cannot be repaired in the field creates a support problem no service contract can solve. The design removes the problem instead of staffing around it.

Field maintainability was set as a requirement before the first airframe was drawn. That is why a damaged aircraft costs a component rather than a capital asset, why an ordinary toolkit is enough, and why a fleet spends its life in the air rather than in transit to a depot.

See the aircraft fly before you specify it.

We would rather show you than tell you. Arrange a demonstration and put the airframe in front of the people who will actually operate it.
